The Journey of a Thousand Miles
I came home and found her there. “What’s wrong?” I asked her. My heart sank. There she was, on her knees, half dressed and her head bowed. My mind went to places it shouldn’t go. Did someone break in? Did someone hurt her? I even went to thoughts of her waiting to tell me she’d been unfaithful. “Sam, Samantha, what happened?” I moved to her and dropped to my knees. I reached out and with a trembling hand lifted her chin, turning her gaze to mine. “Answer me.”
“Yes sir” she said softly. “All is well sir” she said again and met my eyes. ‘Sir?’ I pondered as I gazed into her eyes and then swept my gaze over her body. I was looking for signs of abuse or trauma, at least that’s what I told myself, but in truth she was mostly naked and any chance I had to look over her body was fine by me. I leaned closer and brushed my lips to hers, letting my eyes drift closed. She wasn’t trembling, but she was aroused, I could tell that easily.
